Cisco operates a 160,000-square-foot internal data center at 2260 Chelsea Boulevard in Allen, opened in 2011 as part of its private-cloud infrastructure. The site is paired with Cisco's Richardson campus as a metro virtual data center for production IT, distinct from the Telecom Corridor engineering campus.
